One of my favorite memories of Peter is a visit we made to the Double D several years ago. Then Peter, Deedee, Dennis and I went to stay at beautiful Blue Lake Ranch outside Durango. This was the era of “Peter’s Ponytail” and he asked me to help him pick out a concha ponytail holder at the Toh-Atin Gallery. Peter was thrilled when we found one with beautiful design! When we got back to Blue Lake Ranch Peter brought me his hairbrush, sat down and said ” Now make me look good!” I tried to make it look sleek and sophisticated and Peter was so pleased while Deedee and Dennis rolled their eyes. The next morning, we all went in to wake up Peter and the photo shows the aftermath of the ponytail! We miss you dearly Peter but what a life so wonderfully lived.
